An artist is someone who produces things that the people don’t need to have but he, for some reason, thinks it would be a good idea to give them
Like all visual artists, I have the compulsive need to show my work. In this site, former Id idea digital's site, I present samples of works from different areas of visual arts and communication in which I have worked.
You’ll find here, painting, video, design, websites and some other items, representing what I have done in several stages since some few years ago…
I hope you find something interesting enough to motivate a praised critical or at least a shy silent applause.
For some reason that I don't quite know which, it's been a while since I didn’t paint with traditional techniques in physical environment. In exchange, I have completely dedicated to digital art.
So these painting samples are over 20 years ago. They were made between 1987 and 1994 and were part of a series of works that eventually make up an exhibition which included painting, drawing and graphic mimeo (see Drawing and Graphics). The exhibition never took place.
T Series : mixed media paintings (acrylic & oil) on canvas 120 x 100 and 100 x 120 cm.
P Series: charcoal & oil paintings on paper 50 x 65 and 65 x 50 cm.
The samples included here represent different stages of my work in this area.
Mimeo series were made between 1987 and 1990 and were part of an exhibition never realized (see Painting). The images sequence of the slider above shows my first digital graphic works in the beginning of the digital technology for images with 24 bits color depth, made them with video resolution between 1991 and 1994. Dib-Di 1 Series is a digital drawing album made between 1994 and 2000, and Di-Graf 1 Series are digital graphic work based in photograph, made from 2002 to 2012.
This set was made from burnt ink drawings in electronic stencil, regular stencil drawn directly and manual mimeograph printing.

This series of digital paintings were made from scanned ink drawings and subsequently processed in Video Toaster Amiga Paint and finished in Photoshop.
